Our in-house design and programming team offers a diverse range of product design and development services that transform innovative concepts into efficiently manufactured, finished products. Our design and programming team has an average of fourteen years of experience and employment in designing and CNC programming for the production of plastic injection molds with Team PPI. Our experience as mold makers and skilled designers has helped us implement design standards to simplify our mold design processes. From our experience, we understand the value of designing standardized parts to optimize time-to-market, part manufacture and assembly.

In addition to our in-house design team we have a Global design group at our location in Pune, India. Our collaborative efforts with India give Team PPI International design capabilities which allows us greater flexibility and reduced design time for specific projects.

Our design and engineering team utilizes our extensive knowledge and we incorporate cutting edge, solid model, technology to facilitate seamless projects that flow value directly to the customer. Our engineers are expert mold designers in Pro-Engineer, Unigraphics and other CAD applications.

Team PPI offers our customers accelerated time-to-market and cost competitive services through our global engineering program. Together with our design team in India, a cross functional team of engineer experts, Team PPI can offer 24 hour design and engineering services.

Our Global team offers Mold Flow Analysis which helps the customer predict the flow of plastic material into the mold. When implemented early, Mold Flow Analysis can assist with part designs such as, gate placement and venting. This analysis can also identify issues such as, part stresses and wall stock thickness problems by simulating the injection molding process. When utilized, this service can prevent costly mold rework.
